Party Recap
We are Disneyland magic key holders and my son is absolutely obsessed with Indiana Jones. When I asked him what theme he wanted for his birthday, it was an easy choice! I wanted to create something beautiful that still felt very rustic and authentic to the iconic film. We built a custom backdrop that was covered in rock paper and nailed 4 pallet walls to the sides. I ordered these amazing orange ombré snakes (a play on the ombré Indiana Jones font) for each child to take home as a party favor. I had 2 custom vinyls created that said Cole’s 5th Crusade for the backdrop and Snakes, why did it have to be snakes? which was applied to the ice cream cart. We had themed desserts and gummy snakes were one of the ice cream topping offerings. The kids food table had gorgeous gold skeleton plates, chargers that I had spray painted a dark bronze, and 2 kinetic sand bins with Indiana Jones treasures. We had a sensory playdough activity station from @plannedprettykids so each child could take home a kit filled with pretend bugs, snakes, and treasure as well. To top it off, we hired @kidsreptileparties who did a 90 min engaging reptile show with all of the kids. It was absolutely incredible and the perfect addition to the party!
