Citrus Party

Are you a citrus lover? If not, this party might make you become one ;). A citrus theme is perfect for spring and summer. The vibrant colors will instantly make you happy and fruit- especially citrus is very affordable. The best part about a citrus theme is you can use the fruit after your party or send it home with guests as a favor.

The backdrop:
A balloon garland is a must, of course! I added orange, lemon and lime 18″ mylar balloons to take it to the next level. The lime paper streamers are from Target and the handmade 3ft tassel garland is available in my shop.

The table:
I lined my table using a jute table runner. The streamer pack also includes an orange strand. I placed that on top of the table runner then started to layer my fruit. I cut open a few oranges and limes. I love the fresh look the fruit open gives. I then added in a few faux flower stems to fill in the gaps.

The place settings:
I found the cutest citrus plates at Marshall’s which inspired this whole party set up. Also included at each place setting: a can of spindrift grapefruit, pink paper straw, pink scallop napkin and fresh cut lemon slice.
