Party Recap
My son loves Thomas the train. So I knew that a train party would just delight him. However I wanted to do something a little less commercial. So I decided to do vintage trains. I purchased vintage books off of Ebay. My husband and I thought a snack bar in the form of a train would be really cute. The handmade train banners were die punches attached to ribbon. I also thought the railroad signs added a nice touch here and there. (these are attached to paint sticks then I used recycled cans to display them.) I purchased the cake from a local bakery and my son loved it! I made sugar cookies, dyed them yellow and piped black royal icing on them to make railroad signs.........they were a huge hit......all 75 cookies were gone by the end of the party!

These are actually paper die cuts that I purchased off of ebay. I think the lady said it was done with a cricket machine.
