Choo Choo Train Themed Party
ByParty Recap
Choo Choo Bennett is Turning Two. Boys and girls alike love trains and what better way to celebrate their birthday than a choo choo train themed party. This party has it all from a custom two tier train cake, train cookies, custom printables, and a choo choo train for everyone to ride!
When Bennett’s parents asked Sarah with Sarah Sofia Productions to plan and design a train themed party for their sons second birthday with the colors red, blue and white our wheels started turning. Thinking outside the boxed we created a vintage and modern look with shades of blue to create a one of kind train party.
First step in creating a custom party is designing an invitation to coordinate with your theme. Birds Party designed the invitation and printables, which added color and a whimsical touch to the party.
Bennett Station. Guests were greeted with railroad crossing wooden sign and large red balloons and offered some Diesel Fuel aka drinks.
All Abroad the Bennet Express! The preppy gingham backdrop with the custom sign and the custom train cake designed by Edible Art Charlotte as the centerpiece was definitely a hit with all the guests! We added red, navy and gold tassels garland from Glam Fete, paper pinwheel, toy trains, and two balloon bunches to complete the dessert table design.
Sweet train treats included rail road crossing and train cookies, cake pops, and rail road crossing cupcakes.
Passenger’s next few stops were Fueling Stations aka food stations, which had lots of delicious choo choo treats to fuel them up! Guests sat in First Class Seating and enjoyed gold fish (choo choo treats), pretzel (log cabin), Fruit (train fuel), veggies (produce car), mac and cheese, pulled pork sliders, and pizza.
After passengers fueled up it was time to play with train sets, corn hole, bubbles, and a choo choo train ride!
Chugga Chugga Thank You! Each guest received train theme party favors that included a conductor’s hat, train whistle, and red bandana.
