Charlotte's Web 1st Birthday Celebration

Charlotte's mom wanted a Charlotte's Web themed birthday celebration for Charlotte's 1st birthday.

I suggested pastel colours to make it a very pretty and girly affair fit for Charlotte’s 1st birthday. I wanted the look to be quite colourful, so that it would draw the attention of the kids, so I went with pastel pink, yellow, blue and green, and, white as a neutral colour. The pattern of choice was gingham, as it brings to mind countryside, farms and cute barnyard animals.
The desserts were a 2-tier cake, customised fondant cupcakes, strawberries dipped in white chocolate couverture, macarons, strawberry shortcake shooters, lychee jelly shooters, cake pops and customised butter cookies.

We also prepared disposable cutlery, serviettes and plates in the colour scheme with gingham design to match the decor and desserts. And we prepared pink and blue boxes with customised “Thank You” tags and a yellow gingham ribbon for guests to bring back remaining desserts :)
