Our son, Joel, wanted his 5th Bday party to be a construction themed party. I took to Pinterest and Catch my party for inspiration. The decor is a mix of handmade and pre-made items!

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

    Fruit Tray, Veggie Tray, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Baked Potato Soup, Chili, Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Ham Sandwiches, Turkey Sandwiches, BBQ Chips, Regular Chips.

  • What People Drank

    Ice Water, Lemonade, Sweet Tea.

  • Desserts

    6in Chocolate cake & Nothing Bundt Cake’s Bundtinis (chocolate, lemon, white chocolate raspberry, and confetti)

  • Party Favors

    - Tool Belts (hammer, screwdriver, measuring tape, safety glasses, paint brush) - Construction Hats w/ Name - Mini Construction Vehicle

  • Activities / Games

    Construction Trucks: Container filled with rice and beans with construction vehicles in them. Hammer Station: Foam blocks with caution tape around them. Used wooden golf tees as nails and the kids used hammers in their tool belts. Color Station: Construction vehicle color sheets with crayons. Marshmallow Construction: Little cups of marshmallows and toothpicks and they could construct what they wanted with them. The adults enjoyed this as well ;)
