Party Recap

Camp Quality chose to embrace the season we are in and threw a winter wonderland extravaganza to support children and their families living with cancer. Aimee who is one of Camp Quality’s trusted volunteers contacted me to see if I would like to be involved. I jumped at the opportunity and I am so glad I did, as it was easily one of my most favourite events I have been a part of.

I put a call out via the Celebrate Society which is a group of the nation’s most talented party vendor’s through Life’s Little Celebrations. I was overwhelmed with the response of those who wanted to donate their time, talent and product to the event. As they say it’s better to give than receive, and I tell ya what I couldn’t agree more. I was so pleased I along with others could play a small part in bringing joy to Camp Quality’s mini campers.

This was the perfect occasion to go all out and create a magical frosted wonderland to bring fun, laughter and optimism to Camp Quality’s mini campers. I knew I needed to create something truly magical, incorporating icy elements and wintery fun!

Party Highlights

  • Party Favors

A gorgeous table setting laid await for the little ones to enjoy all the winter fun! I like to use my imagination and put extra effort into decorating the table. On this occasion I chose a palette of three colours – icy blue, a wintery white and a touch of sparkly silver. I loved the addition of the white lanterns and wintery white florals. The table was set with white and silver paper plates. The wooden cutlery was set in blue napkins and wrapped in twine. Every silver cup featured a blue sticker with the snowflake design, topped with a silver and white striped straw. The water bottles were given a coordinated label indicating that the water was ice cold water. The centrepiece were white lanterns with flickering tea lights, clear vases of white roses, and cute mini signs featuring a silver castle.

On this occasion Alison created mini signs for the tables, stickers for the cups, water bottle labels, and the significant welcome signage, highlighting all the fabulous vendors involved in our contribution.

  • Karen from Pinatas by Karen Rivera

    Piñata

Introducing Peter the Penguin – well that’s the name I gave him! Isn’t he the cutest little penguin piñata you ever did see? Karen from Pinatas by Karen Rivera created Peter the Penguin especially for Camp Quality’s winter wonderland mini camp! He flew first class from Melbourne to Perth for the event. As soon as he arrived – he stole the show! The little ones adored him!

Did you know Peter the Penguin is a pull string piñata? Meaning no hitting the piñata as he is just so gorgeous but instead the little ones would pull one of his strings with the hope that the lucky string pulled will open the piñata! So fun!

  • Jodi from The Party Parlour

    Partyware

Jodie from The Party Parlour generously provided the beautiful blue and silver tableware, aswell as wooden cutlery. Silver cups, topped with a silver and white straw. I loved the look especially with the iridescent plate – it brought a hint of sparkle and glamour to the table.
