Camp Out

This party was such fun, mostly because I got to do it all! Photograph the image for the party invitation, design the invitations and personalised decor, put all the decor together to create the fun forest camp out theme. As it was my son's party I didn't take too many photographs, but I had to take of the decor and set up. We all had a great time, especially my son!

• What People Ate

  Hot Dogs, burgers, pizza and chicken nuggets for the kids. Mini rolls with cold cuts and cheese, chicken and egg mayo. Cocktail platter with meatballs, mini quiche, chicken kebabs, cocktail sausages, sausage rolls.

• What People Drank

  A variety of soft drinks, sodas, iced teas and fruit juice

• Desserts

  A gorgeous chocolate birthday cake and s'more marshmallow topped cupcakes. For the sweet tooth, mini tarts, custard tarts, eclairs, pecan pies and lemon meringue and apple pies. Scones with jams and cheese. Lots of sweets and chocolate treats for the kids.

• Party Favors

  A few favourite sweets and chocolates, a metal mini torch (of camping out) and a toy camera (for taking photos of the forest animals) - the kids loved them!

• Activities / Games

  There was a play area at the park, so the kids played in the sand, on the park equipment and they have an amazing tunnel system that the kids loved running through

  Cake Designer

  Bianca bakes the most gorgeous cakes and the decorates them like a real artist. She has baked for us 3 years running, from a snowy penguins and polar bears theme, to last years yellow and black construction theme, and now this amazing forest camp out cake. She also baked the very cute s'more mallow cupcakes.
