Party Recap
Another year and another birthday party!
This time my youngest son had his 5th birthday party at The Royal Melbourne Zoo so a safari theme seemed most appropriate!
The party was in August so being Melbourne it was lucky we booked the exclusive indoor space ‘Growing Wild Room’ which was inclusive of children’s furniture and a meerkat viewing window and away from the rain!
I really wanted a fun and colourful theme so I bought some bright coloured buckets and filled them with banana flavoured fairy floss, personalised chocolate bar (to match the invitation) and a cute animal cookie. The kids loved their buckets and ate the sweets as soon as they sat down!
After lunch and some games, the party hosts took all the kids to see the seals and some crocodiles (they are my sons favourite zoo animal!)
I ordered an amazing 2 tier safari themed cake with matching cupcakes. It was such a fun day and the kids (and their parents!) had a blast!
