Party Recap
We DIY’d and thrifted most of the party ourselves. Since it was a joint birthday party, we wanted to make it big and have lots of fun things for the kids AND adults to enjoy! The details matter and that’s where we paid the most attention with this event. Photography by Jess Baker Photography
Party Highlights
-
What People Ate
Tacos by Dos Primos Tacos
-
What People Drank
We had Horchata, Jarritos, Watermelon juice, Mexican Coca-Cola and juice for the kids
-
Desserts
We wanted to have little stations for all of the party treats. We had a fruit cart (carro de fruta), sweets and snacks cart (dulces y mas), Mimosa bar, Michelada bar and a nacho bar where we served elote cups and mini bags of hot Cheetos with nacho cheese. The guests LOVED these and took full advantage! Each kid had their own little cake (vanilla with vanilla buttercream) and we made churro flavored cupcakes with a mini churro on top for the guests

Party Favors
Kids were each given a customized sugar cookie with their name (@radcookieco) and a goody bag with a few toys and room to fill with treats from our candy/snack bars and piñata!
-
Activities / Games
The kids enjoyed a large inflatable slide. We had planned to use it as a water slide but the forecast showed rain that day so we decided to use it dry and add balls from our home ball pit and the kids had a blast!
