Caleb's "Noah's Ark" 2nd Birthday Party

My son loved animals at the age of two, so I couldn't think of a more fitting birthday party theme! The party was at our house and the weather was gorgeous but in emphasizing our Noah's Ark theme, just as our last party guest left, the sky opened up and it poured! It was quite a fitting end to a fabulous Noah's Ark party day!!

• What People Ate

  Mammoth Meatballs, Beef & Bleu Sliders (delicious!), Lemon Herb Bowtie Pasta with Chicken, Pigs in Blankets, Salad Nicoise, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Deviled Eggs (that looked like owls), Hippo Dip, Babboon Bites (pretzel nuggets), Mouse Munch (cheese & crackers), Beetle Wings (chips), Cheetas (Cheetos)

• What People Drank

  Water (with customized labels), Rainbow fruit slushies, soda, beer and juice boxes

• Desserts

  Four different kinds of cupcakes were made to resemble animals. There were tigers, skunks, owls and more simply a chocolate chip dotted cupcake that I named Dalmation Cupcakes! Further, there were rainbow colored chocolate covered oreos, chocolate covered pretzels made to look like ladybugs and bumblebees, rice krispies decorated like cows, a rainbow colored cheesecake dip and gummie animals.

• Party Favors

  Gummie animals were strung on a skewer stick that was placed in a cello bag and tied with a pretty ribbon and coordinating favor tag.

• Activities / Games

  Guests could have their faces painted to look like the animals of their choice. We had lot of butterflies running around along with a few tigers, a zebra and a cheetah! And what Noah's Ark party would be complete without a petting zoo? Guests were delighted at the chance to mingle with adorable animals!
