Panda Party- One year old

Brooklyn loves pandas, so we had a panda themed party for her first birthday. The color scheme was lime green and raspberry pink. We served Asian style food, we had a dessert buffet, panda games and crafts, and lots of home made decorations.

• Desserts

  Strawberry cupcakes, chocolate panda cupcakes, panda sugar cookies, chocolate panda cake pops, key lime pie tarts, dessert sushi (rice cripies, swedish fish, and fruit roll ups), and a strawberry smash cake for the birthday girl.

• Party Favors

  Fortune cookies with a message from the birthday girl inside.

• Activities / Games

  Color panda frisbees, "Adopt a panda", Panda bean bag toss, pinata. Adults played washers and we watched a slide show with pictures and videos from her first year. Guests were encouraged to wear panda ears.

• What People Ate

  Sushi, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, potstickers, watermelon, black bean salad, spinach artichoke and cream cheese picante dip. Kids had macaroni and cheese served in takeout boxes.

• What People Drank

  Green tea, lemonade, bottled water with pink and green labels, and sodas.
