Botanical Inspired 30th Birthday Party

Claire reached out to us to help her create a meaningful botanical inspired 30th Birthday Party that would help her ring in a new decade with loved ones. Pulling in a botanical look along with her favorite colors of light green and a dusty blue we set forth on designing and creating a birthday of her dreams! This October as guests arrived at The Little London Plane, in the heart of Pioneer Square Seattle, they were invited to step on in, enjoy a signature Rosemary Pear Bellini (mocktail or cocktail), snap a photo with the birthday girl in front of the lush floral wall, create their own flower crown or floral adornment at the flower bar or sign the book of advice for Claire's next 30 years!  The room was set with terrariums and glass cloches filled with ferns, orchids, succulents and airplants to set the botanical vibe. At the welcome table not a soul noticed that the orchid set inside a terrarium was actually a birthday cake disguised as a live plant. Later in the evening a full buffet of the venues specialties opened and birthday toasts and the lyrics of happy birthday could be heard as Claire blew out her candles on the mini birthday cake Honey Crumb Cake Studio created just for this wish! The small cake was adorned with handmade sugar flower succulents. And not to miss, a wall of doughnuts was displayed featuring Claire's favorite Top Pot Doughtnuts. We were honored to be a part of Claire's 30th Birthday Party as she rang in a new decade with friends and family!

  A custom menu by London Plane featuring seasonal and local favorites.

  A full bar featuring a Rosemary Pear Bellini as the signature cocktail and mocktail. Plenty of tea, coffee and apple cider flowed as well!

• Desserts

  Claire's Birthday Cake crafted by Honey Crumb Cake Studio mimicked a floral atrium and a delicate handmade sugar orchid. A small birthday cake featuring a sugar succulent was used to blow out birthday candles. Both cakes featured a Bourbon Toddy cake. The cake was composed of vanilla cake, apple cider reduction, cinnamon and bourbon whiskey buttercream. In addition to the birthday cake a wall of Top Pot Doughnuts featured Claire's favorite old fashioned doughnuts.

  Guests enjoyed taking a photo with the birthday girl in front of the lush floral wall as well as creating their own flower crown or floral adornment at the flower bar station.
