Bohemian Bridal Shower

The bride is getting married in Bali on June 9th, 2016. The Bridesmaids wanted to host a Bridal Shower that showcased the Bride’s personality and story. The Bride got engaged in Paris in early 2015, so the bridesmaids decided to have a “French Country Bohemian Inspired Bridal Shower” There were a lot of details to create the feel and look. Starting from the invitations that had a “dreamcatcher design” to the party favors that were a heart shape ceramic ring dishes with the Eiffel Tower design. Also, what is more French than Crepes? We hired a crape catering company to serve the guests. The shower also had fun games:

“Put a ring on it” – Each guest took an engagement ring. They could not say “Lily,” “Bridal,” and “Bali” – Rings were taken from those who did.

“Share a Memory of the Bride” – People wrote their name and a memory of something they did with the bride. These cards were read a-loud. If the bride did not guess the author, that person won the prize”

“Over or Under” Questions like “The bride tried 10 dresses before picking the one” or “The bride had 4 serious boyfriend before finding the one” were asked, and guests had to guess if they were over or under those numbers.

And – “Red or White” – A list of wines were listed, and guests had to guess if they were red or white.

As far as the decoration goes, we stacked distressed wood crates to make the dessert display. We also added a Eiffel Tower of course… We had a yummy and gorgeous naked cake, with an eucalyptus crown to give the Bohemian look, and to finish off the look, we had this amazing dream catcher to complement all the decor. The flowers had succulents, and the Bride of course, wore her flower crown.

The “guest” book were made with Keys, attached to a piece of paper, so guests could write what “the key so a successful marriage is”

Desserts were also designed with the party theme.. cake pops with feathers, and cookies and cupcakes with dream catchers.

Most important, we had one happy bride!!”
