Party Recap

Since this year may be different for many, and some families may not be trick or treating at all, I'm here to give you ideas on what you can do to make a Halloween party special for your kiddos! Maybe you just want to invite 1 or 2 friends over on Halloween night, especially since it falls on a Saturday! Order some pizza, throw together a snack board and put on Hocus Pocus! The kids can still have a magical Halloween! This year I knew I wanted to design something pastel for Halloween.
I can't get enough of the ombre rainbow plate by Oh Happy Day! I used hand cut black bats on the plate with a wooden name card on top that I spray painted pink! The ghost stir sticks are just too cute!! I made crayons that said EEK and BOO as party favors! On the table, I used jelly bags to add a pop of color and house the flowers! DIY time! Here I used Festivefetti confetti and white wooden letters from Michaels to create this fun table centerpiece! All I did was glue the confetti on and let it dry over night. I made classic vanilla/vanilla cupcakes and topped them with Fancy Sprinkles and googley eyes, as well as these adorable cupcake toppers by Crafting by Night. The snack board had veggie chips as bats, cheese, cucumbers, oreos, cotton candy, butter cookies, candy corn mix and popcorn! I also had sparkling apple cider with Prism Powder by Fancy Sprinkles, which is an edible glitter that made the kids drinks sparkle! It's gorgeous! My backdrop was black, mint and pink balloons with a darling black bat balloon! I had black cheese cloth draped underneath and a "Boo" banner on the side. The Boo banner is by Amanda at Rusty Chic Decor. I used a circle punch to make googley eyes for some of the balloons! Super easy DIY. Hope you got some inspiration!
