Why We Chose This Theme:
When we heard that the new Beetlejuice movie was hitting theaters in September, we knew it was the perfect opportunity to create something truly special. At Oh Darling Details, our passion lies in transforming imaginative concepts into breathtaking realities, and what better way to flex those creative muscles than by reimagining the world of Beetlejuice with a modern, chic twist? We wanted to capture the essence of this quirky classic while infusing it with our signature blend of style, sophistication, and a bit of spooky fun.

Event Details:
At Oh Darling Details, we believe that every event should tell a story, and this Beetlejuice-inspired photoshoot was no exception. Our role in this design was to take the beloved (and slightly bizarre) elements of Beetlejuice and elevate them into a cohesive, stunning event setup that felt both eerie and elegant.

The transformation of Hutch & Hive Social House into our haunted yet glamorous playground was all about the details. We started with a bold color palette—black and white stripes reminiscent of Beetlejuice’s iconic suit, deep purples, vivid greens, and luxurious gold accents. These colors set the stage for a space that felt otherworldly yet sophisticated.

Honey & Co. Collective enhanced our vision with their expertly designed tablescape, combining moody tones with elegant details that brought our concept to life.

The florals from CWB Events and Design, repurposed from a previous event, were the perfect example of how to blend sustainability with creativity. They added an ethereal, haunting beauty to the setup, proving that even the undead appreciate fine florals.

No Beetlejuice-themed event would be complete without a little drama, and that’s where Froth and Bubble Mobile Bar Co. came in. Their dry ice mocktails weren’t just beverages—they were an experience, bubbling over with spooky vibes and theatrical flair. Guests were instantly transported to a realm where drinks are smoky, mysterious, and totally on-theme.

And let’s not forget the cake from Stella's Ice Cream & Cake Co., which was as much a feast for the eyes as it was for the taste buds. It perfectly encapsulated the whimsical and eerie spirit of Beetlejuice, while the cookies from Sweetened Sugar Shack LLC added a sweet, artistic touch that was almost too good to eat—but who could resist?
