Beatles Bash 1st Birthday

My husband is a huge Beatles fan so the #1 Hits for my baby boy's first birthday seemed like fun! The kids all had a rockin' good time at the Beatles Bash. I wanted the black and white stripe to be prominent throughout the design and you will see it carried over from the invitation, to the table runners, to the signs etc. The kids LOVED the stage that was set with the drums, piano and guitars. The adults all loved this throw back vibe to their younger years as Beatles fans and we even had an adult game of name that song for them! The Merch booth was a HUGE hit with all of the custom items. Custom guitar picks, drums, custom Beatles shirts made by Down Emery Lane and the "all access" laminates. This party was so much fun and will definitely go down as one of the best for our family. The tables all had a black and white table runner, mixed instruments that were painted all black, custom song lyrics and black and white photo of the birthday boy. The guest book was a record that we had people sign.

• What People Ate

  To get that true concert vibe we wanted a "Concession Stand" for the food and treats. The guest were served mini personal size pizzas and salad. They could also satisfy their sweet tooth with cotton candy, popcorn and candy!

• What People Drank

  The glass bottle soda was a throw back to older times and the drink tower made a magnificent display! The guests all really loved the glass bottled soda.

• Desserts

  The birthday boy was treated to his own cake from Singer Sister Sweets! The custom cake feature the black and white Abbey Road silhouettes of the Beatles that was carrier throughout the design of the party. The guests also had custom guitar pick cookies from Singer Sister Sweets that feature the 1 album cover design and various Beatles

• Party Favors

  The kids virtually became members of the band at the party. They received the all access laminate, the yellow drum with the black and white design, a clapper with custom Beatles sticker, an orange container with their name and the Beatles silhouette, guitars, flutes, custom Beatles tattoos, custom Beatles shirts and more!

• Activities / Games

  We like to keep our kids busy! We had sticker music notes hidden all over the party. The kids were given music score sheets and they were encouraged to find all of the music notes to create their own song. We also played musical records which was a HUGE hit! All of the records were re-labeled to fit the décor of the party and feature Beatles songs.
