Be Our Guest! Party

Once we found out that Disney was going to be releasing a live action movie of one our favorite classics, we knew we wanted to host a party to celebrate it's premier!! We wanted to make sure to include some of best moments from the original. It all started with the food. We had to have "the grey stuff" and rose flavored treats. We found some amazing tutorials online for our white chocolate mouse and apple rose tarts and they were guest favorites for sure! Gaston's Tavern was another happy spot at our party with everyone loving the donuts on the antlers. I love when I can use decorations for multiple purposes! I'm pretty sure Gaston would feel at home with our version of his hangout. Our giant rose backdrop greeted everyone who came and was a great spot for party selfies. This party was a perfect way to get ready to see the live action version and feel a little bit of the magic ourselves.

• What People Ate

  Lemon cake with raspberry filling, chocolate cupcakes with strawberry frosting, apple rose tarts, 5 dozen deviled eggs, Marie's baguettes with rose butter pats, white chocolate mouse "candles" and of course, they grey stuff!

• What People Drank

  Raspberry rose tea and Sour Caramel Apple brew.

• Party Favors

  Enchanted rose cookies and rose gummies under a dome dish.

• Activities / Games

  We watch the original Beauty and the Beast to remind us why we love the movie so!
