Ava's 6th Birthday

Fun cowgirl theme with pink and brown color scheme. Surprised the girls with 2 ponies. We had the party in October and the weather was perfect. My favorite party thus far!

• Best Moment

  The best moment was seeing the girls faces when the horses entered the backyard

• Funniest Moment

  Since we were outside I used sparklers instead of candles, so they would not blow out. Ava did not know what to do, she was use to blowing out the candles. So she just closed her eyes and was thinking of her wish and waited for the sparklers to burn out.

• Most Touching Moment

  Most touching moment was all the hugs and kisses I got from my daughter, she really loved everything about it!

• Best Dressed

  Everyone looked super cute at the party with their bandanas tied around their necks and cowgirl hats on!

• Activities / Games

  I tossed pennies in our sandbox and the girls had to "dig for gold" when they found pennies they could take them to the "general store" and buy candy. They had to turn in their pennies for the candy. they each got a brown paper bag to hold their "loot" tied with fabric scraps and twine.

• Budget

  my budget for the party was $500. I think I went a little over my budget, but so worth it. Would not change a thing!

• What People Ate

  smores on a stick, carmel dipped apples, chocolate dipped pretzel rods, hot dogs, chips, candy.

• What People Drank

  juice boxes, bottled orange soda, water bottles
