Angelly and Colby's Marsala Fall Wedding
ByParty Recap
Angelly and Colby’s romance didn’t start in the way you’d expect. Years ago, Angelly remembers working for a bank in their hometown and seeing Colby and his father regularly at her drive thru window. One day, she finally mustered up the courage to let him know that she thought he was attractive, and much to her delight, Colby admitted that the feeling was very mutual. He came back the next day and slipped her a note through the teller window, asking her out on a date! Five years later on their anniversary, the couple made plans to go horseback riding through the country where they lived and have a picnic. Just before lunch, Colby got down on one knee and proposed.
Desiring a mixture of old-world feels with vintage, romantic vibes, Angelly says that the pair had always imagined a smaller, more intimate wedding and they did so without the traditional wedding party. Angelly herself went the DIY route with their florals, choosing the Pantone Marsala flower pack from Blooms By The Box for their arrangements, centerpieces, and handmade bouquet and boutonniere for Colby.

Some of the pair’s favorite wedding day details included their wedding invitation suite that Angelly custom-created as the owner of Leslie & Paper! The couple advises future couples to remain organized during their wedding planning process. “Check each item off the list one by one as you finish. Don’t be all over the place as this will create unnecessary chaos!”
