An Enchanted Fairy Tale Party

We hosted a Fairy Tale themed party for our 5 year old son and 3 year old niece's birthday parties in May. It was a magical party, both indoors and outside were transformed into a theme based on Hans Christian Anderson's tale "Thumbelina". We used real live frogs and toads in our lovely centerpieces and were decked out with twinkle lights and lovely Japanese lanterns throughout our gardens. We served a Cupcake Tower of Fairy Cupcakes and We made a CandyLand birthday cake for the Children to enjoy. All the goodie bags were filled with items the children could use in their gardens. We even had a castle bouncy house and the swimming pool ready for the kids to play in. Later in the evening the adults went down to our 200 year old stone springhouse to enjoy cocktails. It was one of the best parties I have done/hosted in years. As a professional party planner and designer I am always looking for something magical and memorable to create for my family, friends and guest.
