Amelia's "One-derland"

This magical Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party was created for Sweet Amelia!

For this party we choose to go with lots of greenery and pastel colors. For the food table everything was miniature and bite size. We added Moss runners, Clocks, Vintage books, and Stacked China at variety of heights and sizes to give this table a collective whimsical look.

Stacked vintage books and China really bought the guest tables to life. We added moss around the saucers and topped the tea cups with a single pink rose. The roses really gave the tea cups a very elegant touch. String lights and white draping was added to the ceilings and beams giving the space a magical feel.

The children enjoyed decorating and personalizing their own tea cup and “Mad Hatter” hats to take home as their party favors. After they were finished crafting, they all sat down and enjoyed refreshments and a cup of tea. The Kids tables was my favorite detail of them all. For this table we brought in a low children’s table and white chairs. The table was topped with a light pink linen, lots of moss, vintage rose china teapot set, and a touch of baby’s breath. The disposable tea cup place settings we found on amazon, we added white dollies under each one to give it a little extra touch.

Amelia’s highchair was decorated with blue and white tool cut into strips and tied around the tray to create the look of Alice’s dress. We bought in our boxwood wall and decorated it with florals, greenery, hanging china teacups, and a gold picture frame. This wall was a huge hit and guest gravitated towards it for taking photos.

I can’t forget about the Time Capsule! This is such a unique and memorial idea for any first birthday. Each guest hand wrote the birthday girl a sweet note. These cards along with other items from her party, pictures, and the years current events were put into a locked box that will be opened on her 18th birthday!
