Three year old Amaya loves being out in the sunshine and picking the daisies, so those elements were combined into a bright and happy theme for her birthday party. A beautiful pink and yellow decorative buffet table was laid out, complete with sunflowers, pinwheels and candy jars. Pink and yellow bunting and pom poms also draped from the rafters.
Guests ate a buffet lunch of Waldorf salad sandwiches, steamed gyoza, daisy shaped fruit, jelly cups and more. The birthday cake was yellow and pink daisy-covered pinata buttercake, which spilled out pink chocolate balls when cut.
For entertainment, activity stations were set up that the children could enjoy at their own pace, including big sensory tubs of water beads and faux snow, the magnetic fishing game, and a hanging hideaway tent that provided a cozy nook to escape into.
