All Aboard Pierce’s Party Train
Family and friends were invited to celebrate the birthday boy’s 6th birthday with a train party. The invitation and party decorations featured a vintage steam engine train in shades of blue and red.

A welcome sign read “All Aboard The Party Train. The No. 6 Pierce Express” and hung on working railroad crossing signal complete with flashing lights.

The party table included a short track with motorized train circling the centerpiece proclaiming “Happy 6th Birthday.” A train engine pulled six flat cars carrying mini cupcakes topped with candles. A red caboose followed of course.

Tables were decorated with centerpieces including traditional railroad crossing signals and “Pierce Express” signs. A Happy Birthday banner was a festive addition.

• What People Ate

  The “dining car” table included wrapped cutlery with “Chew Chew” napkin rings. Guests made their own tacos, fajitas, and salad with a variety of meats and cheeses. Fruit and vegetable trays as well as assorted dips and chips were popular additions.

• What People Drank

  After “Chew Chew” there had to be “Chugga Chugga.” The Fuel Car featured assorted soft drinks, lemonade, flavored water, and individual water bottles with party themed labels. Iced coffee was a welcome treat.

• Desserts

  Sweets included train cookies and a fabulous white and milk chocolate birthday cake.

• Party Favors

  Party favors of miniature trains included favor tags which read “Thank Choo for hopping aboard my party train.”

• Activities / Games

  Pool party activities lasted into the afternoon.
