Alayna's Under the Sea Party

We had an awesome under the sea 6th birthday party complete with under the sea inspired food, such as "Crab" sandwiches, sea shell pasta salad, wave chips, sea veggies, sea weed chips, drift wood, clam cookies, ocean water, chocolate dipped strawberries with dinglehoppers and homemade, hand painted mermaid cookies. The dessert table was the highlight of the party, with decor raging from fish nets, to sea shells, to pearls, to a candelabra with a spoon, fork and knife, we had wood crates, drift wood, a ship steering wheel, a mini ship, homemade jelly fish and sea horses. We also had "bubble" balloons surrounding the room, a treasure chest as the card holder and little treasure chests filled with chocolate coins, lots of jewelry, as well as a Thank You note in a message in the bottle for centerpieces The kids enjoyed face painting as well as customizing their very own picture frames. My birthday mermaid was complete with a customized mermaid costume purchased from Etsy and a homemade sea shell crown. It was truly a 6th birthday party to remember!!!
