Party Recap
This was a fun party to plan. Luckily, i planned well in advance and it made finding the rockets and robots themed items a little easier.
Party Highlights
-
Activities / Games
Our party was indoors so we had a sticker table (essentially it was a sheet of space stickers that you made into your own theme) and a space puzzle table. We also had 2 cardboard rocket ships that the kids could climb into, color and put stickers on.
-
Budget
Alot of items were either clearance from Oriental Trading, Birthday Express, from Dollar Tree or from the $1 aisle at Michaels.
-
Party Favors
The goodie bags included: free books about saving our 'planet' from the EPA, plastic space guns, space themed window clings, rocket or astronaut bubbles, and more candy!
-
What People Ate
We ordered pizza, but i had the following available: cupcakes, marshmallow pops (super easy and they were a hit), rocket sugar cookies with royal icing, candies, chips and drinks.
-
What People Drank
I offered Capri Sun (for the foil/space theme), coke/diet coke for the parents and water.

This invitation was purchased from Etsy. The seller nattysuedesigns1 and she was great. Had them printed out for 4x6s at my local CVS.

The large topper, cupcake toppers were purchased from Paper Kingdom on Etsy. She does great work and was a pleasure to work with.

My first try at rolling out cookies and using royal icing. I think they turned out great...and they were very tasty!
