Party Recap
My daughter, Ellah, has a love for ballerinas and dancing. When I was shopping at the Round Top/Warrenton Antiques Show in Round Top, Texas, I found a stash of vintage little ballerina prints. I purchased them for her room, and when she saw them, the gasp she took helped me to decide the theme of her 3rd birthday - a vintage ballerina.

Party Highlights
-
Best Dressed
The birthday girl, of course!
-
Desserts
The birthday cake was a strawberry ribbon cake with a raspberry filling.
-
Activities / Games
We kept the activities simple for the 3-5 year olds. When the girls arrived they were given a ballerina coloring page to decorate. The girls also made their own ballerina princess crowns. Of course, the girls danced and tutus were provided if someone didn't wear their own.
-
Budget
Not including the birthday girl's outfit, I spent $150 on the entire party.
-
Party Favors
The party favors were all things girly. My daughter's favorite was the sparkling lip gloss. Each ballerina received a rose as the party ended just like a prima ballerina at the end of her performance.
-
Best Moment
Watching our daughter blow out the candles to her third birthday cake was the best and most touching moment. I cry every year! They grow older much too fast, so I always pause to take in that moment.
-
What People Ate
We had a brunch with oven roasted ham and cheese sliders, tiny dancer croissant sandwiches with chicken salad, pigs in the blanket, french toast, raspberry muffins, powdered donuts, assortment of fruit including watermelon, the birthday girl's favorite.
-
What People Drank
We had orange juice, strawberry lemonade, and tea to drink. We provided spill-proof cups for all the children.

Thank you again! I have a very talented relative who was quick to put together my request, and I couldn't have been happier with the result. The banner now hangs in her room. :)

I love how you have described where you saved money. So many of these parties seem very expensive to recreate. It is inspiring to see what you can do for $150. It would be great to see how much some parties really do cost! Anna
