| A Nod to Wimbledon 40th Birthday Party |

So my client Jeff reached out to me wanting to do a surprise party for his husband. He admitted that he knew nothing about planning at all and really needed my help from top to bottom. When I asked him what theme or color scheme he wanted to go with if any, he said he had no clue! So I tried to learn more about the couple, and found out that they both have a deep love for tennis! This was right around the time when Wimbledon was going on, so I said why not do a Wimbledon themed party? My client loved the idea so I went with it.

I wanted to keep things simple yet elegant, more like a elegant nod to Wimbledon than a themed party. We wanted to go with a mostly white theme as a nod to Wimbledon’s all white attire. And all throughout the party, there were little nods to Wimbledon, such as the strawberries and cream featured in our dessert area, the cocktail menu consisting of a Pimm’s Cup cocktail, which is a Wimbledon classic, a Cloud #9, which was champagne topped with Cotton Candy and the guest of honor’s favorite cocktail a Classic Martini which we called the 40/❤️.

I couldn’t have pulled this party off without all of my vendors! And special shout to Baya and her team at Dream Room for all the help they provided!
