A Magical, Musical Trolls Birthday Party

Cute and colorful Trolls makes an awesome theme for any kids birthday party! We included lots of fun Trolls party supplies to make the celebration look and feel like the movie. We used a few simple items to create DIY Trolls craft ideas to keep guests occupied. And just like in the Trolls movie, we wanted lots of music and Trolls themed games at the bash, too! A Trolls pinata made it easy to add some extra excitement to this Trolls birthday party.

• Party Favors

  Trolls stickers, tattoos, bracelets, pencils, and rings make fantastic party favors or game prizes for kids to take home at the end of the birthday party. We used scissors and ribbon to transform brightly colored paper favor bags into Poppy's hair! These Trolls themed party favor bags are an adorable idea for stashing candy and other goodies. We also used felt, pompoms, flower stickers, and glue to decorate solid color party hats like Troll hair. You can make the Trolls party hats in advance, or set it up as a kid-friendly craft.

• Activities / Games

  Everyone wants to pose for pictures! We used Trolls photo booth props to make the snapshots extra special. For a fun party craft, let the kids decorate miniature clay pots with finger paints, glitter, and Trolls stickers. We used wooden pop sticks and felt stickers to create flowers. A ball of quick-dry modeling clay is great for getting the flowers to stick straight up in the mini pots. Another fun Trolls party idea is making DIY birthday memory scrapbooks. Markers, glitter, and glue are fun to decorate the scrapbook pages! Print out pictures from your birthday photo booth to paste inside the scrapbook. Our Trolls pinata also gets kids in their "happy place." This pull-string Trolls pinata is fun, safe, and easy-to-play. Kids will have a blast ripping off each of the pinata strings and waiting in anticipation for the one that will randomly release all the Trolls party loot inside! Make sure you have a few Trolls goody bags ready for scooping up all the falling treats. Of course, classic kids party games are fun for a Trolls party, too! Musical chairs gets a Trolls-twist with the Trolls movie soundtrack!
