Party Recap
Before Michelle and Stephen met, Michelle worked with Stephen’s aunt, and they quickly became friends. One day while at work, Stephen’s aunt told Michelle, “when you’re done dating jerks, I want you to meet my nephew”. It took a few years, but Michelle finally gave in. Shortly after, they were set up on a date and have been inseparable ever since.
Michelle and Stephen’s destination wedding was inspired by the ocean, where their love grew for one another on endless beach vacations; wanting to bring that magic to their laidback wedding gave their guests a glimpse into their love story. To add to the ambiance, Michelle’s sister, Amanda, created each bouquet, boutonnière, and the bridal starfish headpiece, which complemented their beach theme.
The couple’s breezy, beach wedding was everything they dreamed of, from the sound of the waves crashing, to the wild horses surrounding the island, to dancing under the stars. For those who are planning their own wedding, this is what Michelle and Stephen had to say: “Don’t make it so complicated and stay true to the simplicity of what you and your spouse love, what brought you together.”
