40 is Fab!

This party was all about just how fabulous you are at 40. You've reached a point in your life where you are comfortable and have the confidence not to care as much about what other people think. What could be better! Flamingos and feathers were the main decor for this party, the tag line being, go ahead, ruffle some feather 40 is fab. Cards with this saying were attached to feather boas for all the ladies to wear. There were a few other quotes placed throughout the party, all reflecting the confidence that reaching 40 brings along with it. There were a number of nice personal touches that I loved as well. The birthday girl's favorite sweet treats placed in glass jars for everyone to enjoy. A signature cocktail named for an inside joke between the birthday girl and her college friends (who surprised her by coming from far away to attend this party) and lastly lots of fun pictures from throughout the years displayed for all to admire (and laugh about). This party had a festive and fun theme but mostly it must have made miss 40 feel very loved by everyone who put in the effort to make it happen. I was honored to be a part of such a heartfelt and fun celebration.
