I decided to share my own dot grid journal pages for travel with you! This travel planner printable is perfect for traveling with young kids or without. I hand lettered the titles and elements, scanned them, and turned them into planner insert pages you can print as needed. The area where you'd write is filled with a faint dot grid pattern to keep your lines straight without interfering much.

You get 5 printable files including the following:

*A "to do" list categorized by when you should do it.
*A suggestion page you can use to fill in the to-do list - a PDF and Word doc (in case you want to edit it before printing) that tells you what you might want to do when, that you can use as the springboard for filling in your own to do list. I included both generic suggestions and those for families, and lots of details so that you can write it down shorter on your planner page.
*A packing list with categories and a blank packing list - choose which you prefer
*"Places to go" page - fill in activity ideas based on when they're best done so that you can loosely plan your trip or have alternatives ready
*"Local Life" page to mark down events, people to visit, places to eat, and must-dos at your destination
*A "Places to eat" chart to mark down assorted local eateries, their location, dietary needs, and more.
*A "to buy" pre-trip shopping list categorized into gifts, food, look into, and must-have.
*An undated weekly "calendar" page that you can use to actually mark all your details down.
