Product Info

Turn a Pesach tradition into a fun kids' pretend play activity with these Passover coloring pages and crafts!

"Bedikat Chametz" is the tradition to hide and search for ten pieces of bread the night before Passover starts.

In this coloring craft, kids color and create their own cartoon candle, feather, spoon, bag, and ten pieces of numbered bread.
This is a great way to incorporate counting and number learning into the Jewish holidays.

It's a number hunt, a coloring page, and a pretend play toy all in one!!

***IMPORTANT: This is a printable coloring page activity - you get four PDF files to print out on paper! Color, cut out, assemble the bag by gluing the tabs. Does not include assembly materials, paper, crayons, or anything physical. You get an automatic digital download of this Passover activity.***

To see a preview of the pages you get printed out and untouched, see the second through fifth photos in this listing.

***How to play (once you've crafted it):
-->Hide the ten pieces of bread! Make sure to specify to the child(ren) hiding what the limits are.
--> Now another party/ies need to find all ten pieces. The candle is used to light the way to find the bread, the feather is used to sweep the bread onto the spoon. It's then placed into the bag.
--> You successfully got rid of all your Chametz (leavened bread) when you find all ten pieces.

I illustrated this activity in a fun and quirky cartoon style.

-->There are ten slices of bread, numbered with different faces.
-->A looking candle, a blowing feather, and an "eating" spoon is ready to color and cut out.
--> I included two versions of the bag template - a cartoon-style one, and a plain one that says "bedikat chametz" in hebrew, that can be decorated more.
-->Of course, you can store the whole game in the bag and use it again and again.

-->I recommend printing this Passover activity on plain paper for one-time use or on card stock paper for repeated use.

Note: I treat my art like art! That means that you may see some imperfections as would be expected in anything hand-drawn. I hope you can love and appreciate it like I do!

**This is an automatic digital download (fulfilled via Etsy)- you get 4 PDF files in 8.5x11 - letter- size.**
