There is space to record facts about each property on their own tabs:

- Address
- Real estate agent's contact details
- Historical selling prices, listed price and your estimated sale price
- Previous rent prices and rent appraisal
- Size (area of internal, external, land size)
- Ongoing costs per year (e.g. body corporate and council fees)
- External areas (does it have a pool? fully fenced? covered and uncovered areas? solar panels?)
- Internal details (number of bedrooms, bathrooms, parking spaces etc.)
- Details about the building (year built, roof type, dog friendly?)
- Ref flags (flood zone? bushfire zone? visible issues e.g. mould?)
- Condition (rate the condition of flooring, window coverings, paint, air conditioning, evidence of cracks, age of appliances etc.)
- Renovation works (list out the items and estimated cost to tailor the property the way you want it e.g. kitchen renovation)
- Distance to - time or km's (supermarkets, train station, major shopping centre, schools, hairdresser, doctor, parks, family members etc.)
- Commute (your commute and your spouse or flatmate's commute)
- Pros and cons list
- You can insert photos of the property on each tab

While these spreadsheets are set up for house hunting to buy, you could use them to search for a rental as well (just enter the weekly rent in the price section instead of the purchase price).
