Stick Horses make great party favors for your horse theme party, barnyard birthday or farm theme party. These DIY stick horses can be customized in colors you choose or to match your party theme. This listing is for 1 DIY stick horse head ready to be stuffed and dowels added - all the sewing is finished for you. The horse head, mane and ribbon color can be mixed and matched or customized in colors you choose to match your party theme. I have included in the listing images (swipe to see all images) a list of standard colors available. This listing does not include stuffing and sticks. Assembly is a simple process completed in a few easy steps. Finish the stick horses in advance of your event (grab a friend to help!) or include as a party activity. Let your guests make their horses (some adult assistance may be needed) and than have a rodeo or horse races.
Product Information:
Horse heads and mane are made from felt with button eyes that are sewn on. The attached bridle and neck ribbon are grosgrain ribbon. Finished head measures approximately 10" tall by 9" wide.
For each horse ordered PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR COLOR CHOICE FOR THE HEAD, MANE AND RIBBON. You may also just tell me "assortment for girls", "assortment for boys", "no pink or purple", "no black horses", etc. Other color options may be available. Please convo me with your ideas and I will work with you and provide you with a quote for creating custom hobby horses for your special occasion usually at no additional cost.
Simple Assembly (complete, easy to follow instructions included with order). Once you receive the sewn horse heads they can be quickly and easily stuffed and attached to a dowel by stuffing the poly-fil through the opening at the bottom of the neck, inserting the dowel, adding a touch of hot glue for a secure hold and tying the attached neck ribbon. To complete a set of 5 a bag of Poly-fil and 5 - 5/8" x 36" wooden dowels can be purchased at craft stores and major retailers with craft departments for about $10.
