The banner does not glow in the dark on its own. You will need a black light to make the banner reflect as shown in the pictures.

This listing is for a banner with just HAPPY BIRTHDAY and three dots sewn on each side. If you would like to add a name to your banner, simply use the pull-down menu to select a name banner based on the number of letters in the name. The name banner will be sewn as a separate line similar to the rest of the banner with three dots on either side of the name.

Each letter is 3.5" (8.89 cm) high. See the picture with my hand to get a better idea of how big the letters are. The dots measure 2.5" (6.35 cm) in diameter. Letters and dots are sewn together with strong, quality thread with about a foot of thread left on each end for hanging. The banner is lightweight and very easy to hang with masking tape. The HAPPY banner measures approximately 40 inches (101 cm), and the BIRTHDAY banner measure approximately 51 inches (130 cm).

Colors of each letter may vary slightly from the listing pictures, but the colors used will be the same.
