THE STORY BEHIND THIS PRODUCT:
Because of my degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development and love for building up relationships, I'm constantly looking for ways to bring families closer together.

I designed this printable Dinner Conversation Starter activity to bring MY family closer together. Here's what's happened since we first tested this game--our conversations at the dinner table have improved, even on the nights that we don't play the game. How is this possible? By introducing the game, we disrupted our usual pattern which usually consisted of conversations between 2-3 individuals about their favorite cartoon or a game they like to play (I was sooooo done with this). Since we began, my children have started more inclusive conversations on their own. They are sharing more of their feelings. They are thinking of others. My kids all love rolling the dice and answering the questions (even the teenager!).

The thing I love most about this printable is the questions are geared toward deep thought. Most aim at helping individuals think more intently about others. And when individuals know these questions will be asked night after night, they can subconsciously look for answers throughout the day. We're a religious family and since we've started, my children's prayers have transformed. They have been much more mindful of each other.

Will you have as many breakthrough's in your family? That depends on your family, but I believe efforts bring results. The more value you place on positive conversations, the better your conversations will be.

THE PRODUCT:
This digital only pdf prints out on one sheet (I recommend card stock and laminating if possible). You can fold it or cut it. Your choice. You'll need a six-sided die and a group of people to play. There are two playing options, one where each person rolls a dice for a question or one person rolls a dice and everyone answers the same question during the conversation.

As with the other games in this shop, you can print and give this away as gifts (hello neighbor, coworker, and extended family gifts!). You are welcome to print multiple games to give away. Selling of the game or files or distribution of the files is prohibited.
