A little over five years ago my husbands job cut his salary in half. The economy was rough. I had just had our second baby. We were in a bind.

My husband and I decided to sell my wedding ring--using the money to buy Photoshop and Illustrator. I began designing and designing and designing. For months I watched my Etsy shop without a single sale. Then one day I had my first sale. Several days later I had my second and then my shop exploded.
