I often get asked about burning bowls. Logistically, how is it done, given that I'm left-handed and the woodburning pen could so easily burn the edges of the bowl? The answer is that I draw each design by hand, and then I very carefully tilt and rotate the bowl as a I burn to avoid burning the edges.
