Party Recap

This table setting was made for my daughter’s Western Theme Kindergarten graduation. We took advantage of the theme to decorate with reused boxes, tin cans and glass containers. It was a great idea, because give us the opportunity to make something for the planet at the same time that we reduced the costs. We decorated them with colored burlap (which was founded in Walmart), rope and of course our Toy Story Western theme Collections (which you can find in our Etsy Store). We also include in the setting some basket from my house, as I told you before I love to use anything I got on hand, is cheap and many times turned to be fabulous. The beautiful focal point, the paper sunflowers, were made by me and my beautiful helper, my cousin, who got the idea in the first place and who help me a lot in the Paper Sunflower step by step tutorial (which was also featured in HWTM blog)

Another great item in this table were the popcorn cones, which were made using an HWTM DIY post and template and decorated with personalized circles. The tissue pom poms were also a great decoration item and were made using Martha Stewart’s Step by Step Tutorial.I love making those pom poms, they are super easy. Ours were made with three different colors of tissue paper (red, blue and yellow) and they looked terrific.

This Dessert Buffet was made with heart and soul for my girl and all her school friends. It was perfect for the occasion and made it even more special. We enjoy very much to see all the kid's happy faces, including my daughter's.We hope you enjoy the photos of this dessert table as much as we enjoy making it!
