Selected as Party of the Day on November 24th!
We are Thankful - A Rustic Thanksgiving
ByParty Recap
It was my husband's birthday weekend and I also had a surprise visit from family who had never experienced Thanksgiving.
I figured this was the best time to throw a party for 2 things I was grateful for: my husband and my family.
Party Highlights
-
What People Ate
Everyone brought a special dish. There was the large homemade turkey with all the garnishings, my Aunt's special holiday ham, sides such as mashed potatoes, green beans, corn bread, and sweet yams. There were also non-holiday but happily homemade dishes such as curry, pasta, and fruit salad.

What People Drank
There had to be apple cider, of course! As well as the well-loved Coke, other soda and water.
-
Desserts
Desserts were delightful cakes and pies from The French Confection Co.
-
Party Favors
Guests were able to bring home leftover food and goodies using kraft food containers provided by the host.
