Party Recap
When my daughters told me that they wanted a circus birthday party, I had the most beautiful visions of a circus with all things girly! The whole party was red, turquoise, and hot pink with frills, tutus, boas and ruffles!
Party Highlights
-
Best Dressed
Of course, my three birthday girls in their Polkadaisies dresses.
-
Desserts
We had an amazing dessert table. Circus sugar cookies, chocolate covered oreos and pops, candy apples, popcorn cupcakes, LOTS of candy, a popcorn machine and cotton candy
-
Activities / Games
The kids had a bounce house, spin art station, ring toss, ping pong toss, bean bag toss, ring toss, ball pit, stryker, face painting and a stilt walker
-
Best Moment
Watching my daughters faces when they walked in and saw the room all decorated. They were floored!
-
What People Ate
We had all carnival/circus type foods, hotdogs with all the fixings and pizza.
-
What People Drank
Juice and waters and the "old school" bottled cokes
-
Most Touching Moment
When my daughter Preslee told me I was the coolest mommy ever!

Funniest Moment
The kids in the photo booth. They really got into all the props and loved getting their picture taken!

They are so easy! I am working on a tutorial now to share. I was a little nervous when I decided that I was REALLY going to make them, but they are so so easy. Check back on Monday and I'll have the tutorial posted on my blog (www.shopcupcakesandlemonade.blogspot.com) and I think it's going to be posted on Catch My Party too!

Isn't it cool? I love the vintage feel. The venue where we had the party had signs that you could rent and this was one of them!
