Party Recap

This party was amazing. We celebrated my daughter Ava's 1st birthday. She was the mermaid of the party. everything came together better than I could expect.I planned for months and made alot of the decorations myself as well as the goody table filled with lots of sweet treats. MY boyfriends family is amazing and prepared the bulk of the main meal. We had puerto rican pork, chicken and rice. And I made mac and cheese pb & j starfish sandwiches and octodogs for the kids. Also a family relative of my boyfriends djed so the kids got to dance and it really gave a great atmosphere to the party.

    Printables

This really made the candy table and decorations complete. The mermaid theme print outs were costly but so worth it. The invitations were a hit. Lisa was wonderful. She customized the signs I needed for the entrance way and the signs for the candy tables,http://www.pepcustomdesigns.etsy.com

These are a tootsie roll pop covered with different color tissue paper. I cut them into squares and covered the pop and wrapped pipe cleaners around them to make legs. Then we glued on googly eyes and drew a smile with a sharpie. The kids loved them. And super quick and easy to make
