Party Recap
When planning this party I wanted to add in as many Easter eggs just like Taylor Swift does with her albums, award shows, and premiers. So I started planting the eggs with a custom jeweled invite announcing that we were celebrating our 10th birthday (10 albums) on the 13th of the month (TS lucky number) and we had a surprise element to the cake that the guests never saw coming. It all began with the tablescape. We created a place setting for each era including a different color plate, napkin, and cup for each album that had coordinating Polaroids or watercolor prints and confetti to match. The girls feasted on NY style pizza to represent TS song “Welcome to New York.” The dessert table was lined with cookies, cake pops, and a cake that represented the one TS had in her “Blank Space” song. The girls made friendship bracelets, danced and sang using their DIY candy microphones. The Eras tour played on the big screen and the girls took turns being TS and backup dancers. They took Polaroid pictures in front of the custom fridge backdrop and balloons and used the diy polaroid prop and wore homemade fashion sunglasses for each album. The guests took home glittered guitars for each era, a souvenir cup from the tour filled with a diy eras bookmark and custom keychain for each album. The goal was to fully represent Taylor Swift and give each album special representation.
