Taco Bar party

Taco bar parties are HOT this year. Who doesn't love taco's! The best thing about taco parties, besides how delicious they are, is how easy they are to do. You could even ask your friends to bring some food and make it potluck style.
For this years Cinco de Mayo I hosted a taco bar party at my house. I hadn't seen my friends for about a month and wanted to gather us altogether and catch up. As soon as I told my friends I was hosting a taco bar party they all said, TACOS!!!! I kept the décor to a minimum and focused on the food and time with my friends. We ate and talked for hours.

• What People Ate

  I served pre-seasoned taco meat, black beans, taco toppings of onions, cilantro, cheese, tomatoes, homemade guacamole, and churro tacos.

• What People Drank

  I like to offer a variety of drinks. Guests chose from water, Jarritos, soda and margaritas.

• Desserts

  I made churro cupcakes for dessert and topped them with churros from a local Mexican restaurant.

• Party Favors

  For this party I didn't have party favors. If I had done party favors I would have sent guests home with a succulent.

• Activities / Games

  None. This was an adult only party and we focused on conversation.
