Sip into Summer
ByParty Recap
I work in government relations in Illinois, so January-May my schedule is hectic, crazed and stressful. The second the legislators adjourn for the Summer, I look forward to getting my life back on track and into a more manageable routine-- like only working 8 hours each day instead of 18.
Just 2 days after the House & Senate adjourned, my friend Jen's birthday couldn't come at a better time (Thanks for being born, Jen!). I didn't have a ton of time to throw into the fete, but still wanted to be sure it was one classy shindig.
