Practical Magic Halloween viewing party

This was our annual Black Hat Society Halloween party. This years outdoor movie was Practical Magic. I love the movie Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. I decided to go with an apothecary them for the dessert table. To try to look like the Aunts apothecary in their house. With greenery and wood tones. The dessert table was the highlight . I went simple this year with desssets. There were cookies with midnight margarita design, star and the beetle from the Owens curse. Small petit fours with a lavender flower design from the poem Salley recites (grow lavender for luck), and last but not least the cake was designed to look like a melting candle. People actually didn’t know it was a cake until I started to slice into it.
