Party Recap

I was so pumped to finally get to party at the pool this summer! This 21st backyard pool party had so many fun elements- and once I knew we were going to be sitting at the pool all day I wanted to do something fun with inflatables! Bri Plewman @briplewphotos captured our girls day with such a fun and bright edit- I knew she would be the perfect vibe for our young and chic pool day! I love her work and have long admired her! She has shot for so many fun projects, fashion and events- she really can do it all, and it’s no wonder since she has been learning from one of the best- @ilennismartinezphotgraphy! Scroll and enjoy these fun inflatable photos!

We knew we needed something to keep our drinks cool all day in this scorching Tri-cities sun, so once I spotted these cute cooler tumblers, I knew they were perfect! We kept our bottles cold in an inflatable swan pool, and a fun cactus cooler! We went to the hand lettering expert Carly Allred Studio- one of the areas best and most creative caligraphers and designers! She did such a beautiful job personalizing our tumblers for our guests! Her signage, her cake toppers, her Invitations, she really truly is one of the best!
I knew I wanted to do some sort of inflatable garland for our photobackdrop- this box wood wall rental from Simplified Celebrations was the perfect fit- once I created my beach ball garland and tied her onto our wall- we were ready to make some memories! You can do this- string some fishing line through a large knitting needle and carefully string your beach balls together through their tiny plastic spouts- believe it or not it is relatively simple- but you do have to be careful! I really love how it turned out, and all of the inflatables for this party, beach balls + jumbo flamingo included- were purchased from Oriental Trading!

I have had these inflatable swan cup holders for two years waiting for someone to give me the chance to make them into centerpieces. This is such an easy DIY. I simply placed a small vase inside my cup holder, purchased a bucket of dahlias from Columbia River Dahlias, and got to it! They turned out so cute, and they also float in the pool! please, try it! You will adore them! This works for most inflatable cup holders- we also had some fruit shaped and flamingos (Also from oriental trading) This dessert bar was so fun to style. I used one panel from my boxwood wall and set it on the table- everything else on the table used for styling was from Oriental Trading mini inflatables, the figureines, the silver pinata, that giant unicorn- all of it! We had a custom cake topper from Carly Allred and the birthday girl actually made all of her own treats! They were so beautiful, I was definitely impressed!

The lounge area was so simple but my favorite part of our backyard area, irredescent fringe curtains make any wall look fab- the jumbo fringe silver chandeliers as well as the fringe curtain were again- from Oriental Trading!
