Party Recap

We decided to have an "over the rainbow" party for Annamarie's 6th Birthday. I had so many little details in this party. Using pinterest to collect and organize my ideas made it a lot easier. I made a rainbow balloon arch, it was not easy but looked great! I had a tie dye station, spin art station (purchased at amazon), an amazing face painter, and a bounce castle to bounce out all the sugar that was served

Seeing my little girl smiling and happy

  • Funniest Moment

I forgot to wear gloves when helping kids with the tie dye and my hands were stained for days:)

  • Best Dressed

My daughter of course. I got cute rainbow leggings off of etsy.com

  • What People Ate

We had a dessert bar, rainbow veggie tray, rainbow fruit display, rainbow goldfish, and rainbow pinwheel sandwiches. I had a local Italian ice company come and people got to chose their favorite flavors

  • What People Drank

    Juice boxes and water bottles

  • Desserts

candy display with rainbow skittles I found chewy lemonhead boxes at Halloween and had those in glass canisters Rainbow chevron cake Rainbow ring pops and suckers Homemade chocolate dipped oreos Hand dipped rainbow pretzel sticks

  • Party Favors

Kids got to make their own tie dye tshirts to take home and a rainbow gum ball tube. We also had small bags that kids could scoop out and take candy home with them

  • Activities / Games

Jump castle Make your own Tie Dye station Spin Art station Face Painting Italian Ice

  • Tie dye station

The kids really loved this. I would highly recommend this. I put down painters plastic under the tables since we were on the patio. I duck taped cheap plastic table clothes onto the tables. I bought latex gloves for kids and parents and helpers to wear. I found rainbow colored aprons cheap on amazon.com for the kids to wear when doing it. I pre soaked the tshirts in ash water and had them ready to tie dye as soon as they stepped up to the table.
