Party Recap

My little girl turned 3! She loves Disney as much as I do so when she said she wanted a Lion king party I was so excited. Mainly because we have a jungle of a garden so didn't think I needed to do much.
Make pinwheels out of brown paper, colour paper and wrapping paper. Stuck them to pvc pipe frame that I placed behind the cake and dessert table and hung green and gold ribbon/organza.
Each child was invited with a homemade passport and received a festival band when they entered the party.
We had an amazing face painter.
The kids made puppets out of paper plates and streamers and we had a parade.
I brought inflatable animals and placed them around the garden and sent them on safari.
We had a bug hunt with nets and magnifying glasses.
I glittered up a lion toy we already had for the top of the cake and created the sun set on the cake with a stencil, red and orange edible dust.

I made them using publisher. I faded out a giraffe print I found on Internet images and then printed it on canvas style paper so it had a texture. Then simply printed all the other images, cut out and stuck together. Hope that helps X I do think they have similar passport designs on etsy and eBay for an easier life

I think I got the plain canvas style card from the supermarket. You could just use normal card or whatever you can find, if you are recreating at home just make sure it's not too thick and it will fit your printer. Originally I was looking for something to look like leather but happy with how it turned out.
